From the upper deck, looking east.
A little before six Marilyn took off for town in search of fresh croissants and small bananas. She of course has been up since five, busy with her studies. The storm passed and periods of sun prevail. I have restrung the E strings on Moe’s (pronounced Mo-ay) ukelele with fil de pêche (fishing line) that I bought yesterday at the hardware store. It was a challenge. I am trying to relearn a song I learned two years ago (“Mahana”-the sun comes up) in preparation for my still-to-be-determined first lesson with Jimmy.
